I feel it is my civic duty to share with the larger world the recipe for French Onion Dip Casserole. If we're friends, there's a good chance I've introduced you to this dish. If we're
good friends, you might even have the recipe. But it's time that this casserole went public. It requires only 4 ingredients, is easy to make, and is delcious comfort food.
French Onion Dip Casserole
- Fine egg noodles (extra fine, if you can find them)
- Spaghetti sauce (with or without meat)
- Mozzerella cheese (about 2 cups)
- French onion dip (16 oz.)
Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain. Layer half of noodles in a casserole dish. Top with half of dip. Top with about 1.5 cups sauce. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese. Repeat all layers once, ending with cheese. Bake a 350 degrees until "brown & bubbly." Let sit for about 10 minutes. Then enjoy.
While I'm sad I'm no longer in the exclusive club...I do believe that this casserole can promote world peace. If you try this and don't like it - shoot me an email and you can mail me the leftovers.
ReplyDeleteAt last - it's public! My birthday favorite as a child =^) This one truly warms the heart and tummies of everyone served. A way to make friends and influence people.
ReplyDeleteI've been extolling its virtues for years. But I don't think people actually make it themselves until I've made it for them. (Then, of course, they're addicted.) I think it needs it's own fan page on facebook.:)
ReplyDeleteI want to try it with Helluva Good's Bodacious French onion dip. Maybe that'll have to be on next week's menu plan. Not exactly Weight Watchers friendly though...!
